WRiting Contest #2

speeches of change

"We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.”

~ Mahatma Gandhi

“You must be the change you wish to see”

It is easy to look at the world and complain, to point out faults and lay blame. It is much harder to work towards solutions. We invite all BASAuthors to participate in our Speech Writing Contest, centered on the powerful theme of "Change." What are the issues that you feel are negatively impacting your world or our society? What caused these problems but more importantly, what can we do to bring about the changes? How would you suggest we bring about change?
