WCFPA 2025 Registration

March 4 - 7, 2025

The largest Speech and Drama festival in Canada is BACK! There are 3 categories:

1. Non-Competitive

2. Competitive

3. Competitive - Rhetoric

Talk to your teacher about which festival is right for you and register below! All festival classes will take place in-person at BASA.

Please note registration closes on Sunday February 23rd. Please register before then to secure your spot!

NON - COMPETITIVE

Non-competitive WCFPA is a 60-minute class where students perform a prepared piece to a panel of adjudicators. Non-competitive students receive personalized feedback and the opportunity to see students of all ages perform.

Competitive

Competitive WCFPA is a 60-minute to two-hour performance class where students prepare a recital program of pieces around a central theme and deliver that to a panel of adjudicators. Competitive students receive marks and compete for the adjudicator’s choice award!

Competitive WCFPA Rhetoric is a 60-minute to two-hour performance class where students prepare a speech and deliver that to a panel of adjudicators. Competitive students receive marks and compete for the adjudicator’s choice award!
